Jeep XJ Insanity Rock Sliders
We have always been a fan of doing weld in rock sliders for the Jeep XJ. However, we never cared for the common rectangle tube steel approach. It looks out of place and doesn't follow the contour of the XJ body right. We knew there had to be a better way to do it, and here it is!
These are built from fully formed and laser cut 3/16" HRPO steel. They follow the factory rocker panel angle and also follow the natural taper of the XJ body so they don't stick out more in the front and not in the back like a piece of rectangle tube steel does. They are a complete rocker panel replacement and will keep your rockers protected from those lingering rocks looking to eat your XJ rocker panels.
They come with a 1.75" x 0.120" DOM tube gusseted to the main rock slider. We also include internal gussets that go into the factory rocker structure that helps stiffen the entire rocker/door structure. These will give you way more clearance than a set of bolt on sliders too! These are also perfect if your factory rocker panels are in rough shape and need to be replaced anyhow.
